Position: Director, Risk Identification & Assessment and Emerging Events & Scenarios
About: BMO Financial Group is seeking a Director of Risk Identification & Assessment to join their team. The role involves leading the transformation of the Risk ID & EES program to integrate with BAU processes and deliver valuable risk reporting to management committees and the Board. The Director will play a key role in developing and implementing various target state processes, including risk identification, assessment, and reporting.
Requirements: Typically 10+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent education and experience; in-depth/expert knowledge of risk management, audit, compliance, and governance practices; expertise in business and regulatory environments, risk issues/trends, and best practices; familiarity with banking products, including credit/non-credit experience, economics, and financial markets; strong communication, relationship management, planning, organizing, analytical, problem-solving, and influence skills; ability to manage multiple priorities effectively; seasoned professional with industry knowledge; proficient in verbal and written communication skills; adept at analytical thinking and applying expertise to complex situations; demonstrates adaptability to changing trends and aligns with company values and strategy; promotes diversity and inclusion in the workplace; sets and achieves inspirational goals with clear accountability for outcomes.
