Position: Director, Parks & Recreation
About: A national search is underway to find a visionary leader for the Parks & Recreation Department in Overland Park, Kansas. Overland Park is the second-largest city in Kansas with over 206,000 residents across 75.8 square miles, known for its family-friendly neighborhoods, easy commutes, and affordable living. The Parks and Recreation Department is dedicated to enhancing quality of life, health, and wellness through a variety of recreational opportunities, parks, and facilities for all community members.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in parks and recreation administration, public administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred; 10 years of progressively responsible management experience in parks and recreation, community services, or facilities; valid driver’s license and insurable driving record throughout tenure
