Position: Director of Technical Services
About: A leading food manufacturer is seeking a Technical Services Director to lead food safety, quality assurance, and compliance across their operations. This role ensures adherence to USDA, FDA, and industry standards while driving continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in food science, regulatory compliance, and team leadership to enhance the commitment to producing safe, high-quality products.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field; 3+ years of quality assurance leadership experience in food manufacturing; HACCP certification and strong knowledge of food safety regulations; Experience with organic and allergen quality processes; Familiarity with BRC or SQF standards (preferred); Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and communication skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management; USDA/SQF food manufacturing experience is required
