About: HOTEL DU PONT, a luxury hotel located in Wilmington, Delaware, is seeking a visionary Director of Sales & Marketing to lead its sales and marketing efforts, drive revenue, enhance brand awareness, and maximize profitability. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, innovative, and results-driven leader who can inspire a high-performing team in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred; minimum 5 years of experience in luxury hotel sales and marketing leadership roles; strong background in corporate, group, and leisure sales within a luxury or independent hotel setting; proven ability to develop and execute high-impact sales and marketing strategies; experience managing and developing sales teams to achieve revenue goals; in-depth knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and public relations in hospitality; exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; ability to analyze market trends, competition, and revenue data to drive decision-making; high-level proficiency in CRM systems, revenue management tools, and hotel sales software; creative, strategic thinker with a passion for hospitality, guest experience, and luxury brand storytelling
