Position: Director of Room Operations
About: New York Marriott Marquis is looking for a strategic and experienced individual to join their team as the Business Leader of Rooms Operations. This position involves overseeing Front Office, Recreation/Health Club, and Housekeeping departments, working with department heads to implement strategies and ensuring brand standards are met for optimal customer satisfaction and financial performance. As part of the Executive Committee, the role also involves developing property-wide strategies to meet brand and customer expectations and drive financial success.
Requirements: 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area. OR 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area.
