Position: Director of Operations
About: Flynn Wendy’s, part of the Flynn Group, is a prominent franchisee of over 310 Wendy’s restaurants in various states including the District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Utah, Virginia, New Jersey, Indiana, and West Virginia. With a team of 8,000 employees, it stands as the 4th largest Wendy’s franchise. Flynn Group, founded in 1999 by Greg Flynn, operates a diverse portfolio of restaurants including Taco Bell, Applebee’s, and Planet Fitness.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management, or related field, or equivalent professional experience; minimum 5+ years of second-level multi-restaurant management experience, preferably with a national chain restaurant; 3-5+ years of supervision of multi-restaurant leaders; ability to travel within the assigned area and throughout the organization as requested; superior eye for business with demonstrated ability to analyze and impact business results at an organizational level; excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation; demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, persuade, and collaborate with team and peers; demonstrated analytical, mathematical, and reasoning skills; superior organization and self-management skills; ability to manage/lead others, integrate change, and build a diverse and effective team; demonstrated leadership skills; ability to achieve results through others and build an engaging culture; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; demonstrated positive, team-oriented attitude; ability to stand and walk for long periods without a break; ability to work at a fast pace and may involve exposure to noise, heat, cold, or other elements; ability to travel to other restaurants, meeting venues, etc.
