Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: Seven to ten years manufacturing experience in increasingly responsible roles. Certifications/Licenses: None. Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of the casting industry. Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing. Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, Oracle reports and PEIs as well as complex documents and reports. Excellent team skills and able to interact with other employees, engineers, and leadership. Ability to drive safety. Ability to report progress with engineers to solve issues. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations as well as problems involving abstract concepts. Formal problem-solving skills.
