Position: Director of Operations
About: BCS is seeking a Director of Operations to lead the growth strategy for the Operations department. This role involves managing controls, equipment, and service departments, setting and achieving strategic goals, optimizing processes, and ensuring customer and employee satisfaction. The Director reports to the Chief Operating Officer and oversees Controls and Equipment Team Leads, Controls Field Manager, and Service Manager with minimal supervision.
Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field experience; Skills and Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC industry or related field, strong knowledge of building automation and HVAC concepts, excellent organizational and leadership abilities, in-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles, familiarity with industry legal rules and guidelines, proficiency in MS Office and other business software, working knowledge of data analysis and operations metrics, strong problem-solving and project management skills, proven track record of leading and developing others; Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver’s license; Other Requirements: Requires travel to and from job sites, occasional overnight stays, completion of continuing education as needed
