Position: Director of Manufacturing Operations (Relocation Assistance Provided)
About: Ashley Furniture, a leading manufacturer of home furnishings, is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Operations for Upholstery to maintain a safe work environment and oversee manufacturing processes to meet company objectives and exceed customer expectations. The position involves managing all production and maintenance departments within a facility to increase productivity and profitability.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or Operations Management or equivalent work experience required; Masters or MBA preferred; 10 years managing a manufacturing facility of 1,000+ employees required; Experience in MRP or equivalent Material Requirements Planning software, Manufacturing Execution System software, and Statistical Process Control; Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Theory of Constraints, Just-In-Time, etc.)
