Position: Director of Maintenance and Custodial Operations
About: Ivy Tech Community College, an accredited institution and equal opportunity/affirmative action employer in Indianapolis, is seeking a Director of Maintenance & Custodial Operations to oversee the physical operation and appearance of the campus, ensuring safety, security, cleanliness, and functionality. This role involves supervising maintenance and custodial staff to maintain a positive work environment and support student and faculty needs.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or Associate’s degree/certification with 4-5 years of related work experience; at least 3 years of supervisory experience in maintenance or custodial environment; strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, multitasking, excellent communication skills; proven leadership skills; ability to work independently and in a team; valid driver’s license and eligibility for college insurance coverage
