Position: Director of Food & Beverage
About: Highgate Hotels is a leading real estate investment and hospitality management company with a strong presence in major U.S. gateway cities including New York, Boston, Miami, San Francisco, and Honolulu. The company specializes in developing diverse hotel brands and resorts with a focus on contemporary programming and maximizing asset value.
Requirements: At least 6 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree and at least 3 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and 4 or more years of related experience. Must be proficient in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing. Knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, liquor laws and regulations, and possess a Qualifying Certificate in Food Protection issued by The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Proficiency in MICROS point-of-sale technology and reporting, computing daily food cost and monthly beverage cost, and managing budgets.
