Position: Director of Food and Beverage – InterContinental New York Times Square
About: This is a top food and beverage job in a large full-service, luxury, or resort hotel overseeing multiple major food and beverage outlets, kitchens, banquet facilities, and VIP guests. The role involves supervising a large number of employees and subordinate managers, ensuring quality service and guest satisfaction.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field plus 4+ years related experience, including management experience. Must speak fluent English. Ability to move about facilities, lift items up to 50 pounds, handle food and utensils, bend, stoop, and kneel. Strong communication, reading, writing, mathematical, problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training skills required. Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit may be needed. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
