Position: Director of Food and Beverage
About: The Oklahoma City Convention Center is seeking a Director of Food & Beverage to oversee and coordinate all food and beverage operations at the facility, ensuring adherence to company standards and providing exceptional customer service. This individual will work closely with the General Manager to optimize efficiency, maximize profits, and maintain client satisfaction.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Food & Beverage Management or related field desired; Minimum 5 years of industry experience in a management role, including at least 3 years in a convention center, large hotel, or stadium/arena setting; Previous experience with inventory management, cost control, ordering, receiving, and stocking; Must hold a current Oklahoma Liquor License; Food handler certificate required; Strong skills in contract negotiations, business law, labor relations, and personnel supervision; Proficient in Excel and Word; Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays; Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making abilities
