Position: Director of External Events and Services
About: Meredith College, located in Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking a Director of External Events and Services to oversee external sales for facilities rentals and coordination of external events. The position reports to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications, focusing on marketing campus facilities and increasing external event revenues.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Sales/Marketing, or related field; 3-5 years of experience in event sales, hospitality, or related field; proven track record of meeting sales targets; strong organizational and project management skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software; ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
