Position: Director of Events, Development
About: The Dell Medical School is seeking a Director of Events to lead the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of all fundraising and donor engagement events for the University of Texas Medical Center (UTMC), anchored by Dell Medical School, to enhance philanthropic efforts and foster donor relationships.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in event management, marketing, communications, or a related field; minimum of 5 years in event management within a medical center, academic research center, and/or higher education setting; strong leadership and team management skills; demonstrated organizational and project management skills; exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in event management software and tools; ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; ability to manage multiple complex events concurrently; experience working with high-level executives, leadership, and faculty
