Position: Director of Event Operations
About: Marriott International’s Falls Church Marriott Fairview Park in Falls Church, Virginia seeks a skilled and experienced Event Operations Manager to oversee all event service, banquet operations, and staff on a daily basis. This role focuses on ensuring the highest level of service, maximizing revenue opportunities, and managing the financial performance of the Event Operations Department.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related area; OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field; 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related area. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential for this position.
