Position: Director of Event Management
About: Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, located at 2552 Kalakaua Avenue in Honolulu, Hawaii, is looking for a strategic and experienced Event Management Manager to lead the Event Planning, Banquets/Catering, Event Service, and Event Technology departments. The position is crucial in executing all property events seamlessly and meeting the brand’s target customer needs, maximizing event revenues, and ensuring exceptional service delivery and financial performance.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area. OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
