Position: Director of Crane & Equipment Operations
About: A logistics infrastructure company operating on the Port of Wilmington in Delaware, providing extensive services for various sectors like energy, agriculture, automotive, retail, food, manufacturing, construction, and public safety. The Port of Wilmington is a major deep-water port and marine terminal known for handling imports of fresh fruit, bananas, and juice concentrate efficiently, with quick access to major highways and rail services.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Minimum 10 years of experience in crane operations, port logistics, or related field; Prior leadership or managerial experience in a port, terminal, or heavy equipment environment; In-depth knowledge of maritime regulations, OSHA standards, and safety compliance; Experience with container cranes, bulk handling cranes, mobile harbor cranes, and other port equipment; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with crane operation software; Valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) preferred; Experience working with Unions; Preferred certifications in Crane Operation, OSHA Safety, Project Management, Professional Engineer, TWIC, First Aid, CPR, Safety Professional, Crane Inspection, Rigger, Maritime Security Awareness, and Hazardous Materials Handling
