Position: Director of Construction
About: The Director of Construction leads a Construction Team overseeing all construction related activities for a company specializing in restaurant construction. They are responsible for managing cost, schedule, and quality throughout the project lifecycle and promoting effective coordination between various departments. Preferred experience in Ground Up Restaurant Construction.
Requirements: Minimum educational level/certifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field; 7-10 years of experience in restaurant design and construction; Proven ability to balance workload; Exceptional communication and organizational skills; Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook; Ability to think critically and strategically; Strong customer service background; Travel Requirement: Frequent overnight, out-of-state travel required up to 60% of the year; Regular travel within the greater Chicago area
