Position: Director of Cloud Engineer & Operations
About: Hamilton Porter, a supporter of small business refinancing, is assisting one of the leaders in the industry in hiring a Cloud Engineering & Operations Director. This position involves leading a team of Cloud DevSecOps Engineers focused on AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps initiatives.
Requirements: 12+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure management; 5+ years of proven leadership managing DevOps, DevSecOps, or similar Engineers; strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.); deep knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, GitHub/Bitbucket; proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline); AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer); hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, API Gateway; experience with logging and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Datadog, etc.); strong networking, security, and cloud compliance knowledge; leadership experience in managing cloud teams and driving cloud strategies; strong understanding of security best practices (IAM, network security, secrets management, compliance).
