Position: Director of Banquets
About: Marriott International, a global hotel chain, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Event Management Manager for the Sheraton Overland Park Hotel at the Convention Center in Overland Park, Kansas. This position involves managing all event service, banquet, and event technology operations and staff to ensure the highest level of service and guest satisfaction in the event phase.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area. OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
