Position: Director, MRO Operations
About: The Director, Operations at VSE effectively leads and develops teams to achieve optimum productivity and strategic goals. This role involves managing operations processes to meet marketplace demand by ensuring high-quality products are delivered on time and within budget. The Director also oversees the Continuous Improvement Function to enhance production efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; 10 years of relevant/technical work experience and 7-9 years of leadership experience OR an additional 4 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree; excellent ability to provide strategic leadership and develop comprehensive budgets; proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, etc.); 14+ years of quality work experience; 10+ years in the aviation industry; 10+ years in a supervisory role; proficient with time-studies, lean principals and successful application of some improvement tools; complex problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proven record of results orientation
