Position: Director Global Food Safety & Quality
About: The Director, Global Food Safety & Quality position at McCain Foods USA, Inc. in Oakbrook Terrace is a critical leadership role responsible for leading key strategies to drive and sustain a transformation in food safety globally. The role involves providing leadership and oversight for all aspects of food safety programs, ensuring compliance with standards and expectations to maintain the safety of products worldwide.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, microbiology or related technical discipline. MSc, PhD, would be preferred; Minimum ten (10) years of experience in global food manufacturing with progressive roles in FS&Q; At least five (5) years in leadership roles leading food safety; Demonstrated skills and experience in food safety; Recognized externally as a knowledgeable expert in food safety; Ability to lead and manage without authority; Ability to influence key stakeholders; Excellent communication and analytical skills; Strong team player with high engagement in teams
