About: Bethesda Health is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee nursing staff and activities in a long-term care setting. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current RN license in the state of work; Bachelor’s degree in nursing or its equivalent preferred; three to five years of recent nursing experience with demonstrated administrative and supervisory competency; one year of management experience preferred; communication, organization, and planning skills required; ability to manage a diversity of activities in a stressful environment; physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, transfer and move residents, push and pull equipment, demonstrate manual dexterity and coordination, perform necessary documentation, and maintain visual acuity
