Position: Dir. Strategy Planning/Decision Supt.
About: The Director of Strategy Planning and Decision Support at University Medical Center of El Paso is responsible for leading strategic planning efforts for El Paso Health (EPH) and providing guidance for UMC’s Decision Support processes. The role focuses on positioning the Medicaid and Medicare Managed Care Organization (MCO) in the El Paso and Hudspeth Region, collaborating closely with the Hospital District Chief Strategy Officer and UMC Strategic Management department.
Requirements: Five years of experience in strategic management or business development, preferably in a healthcare or managed care setting. Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Service, or a related discipline required; Master’s degree in a related field preferred. Strong project management, leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Knowledge of strategic planning and healthcare analytics. Proficiency in computer software programs and bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
