Position: Culinary Supervisor Food and Nutrition/ Full-Time
About: This position is for a Culinary Supervisor working under the Chef Manager in the food production department. Responsibilities include overseeing production, ensuring recipe compliance, managing inventory, catering operations, training programs, and maintaining cleanliness standards. The role involves working closely with the management team, maintaining inventory, and ensuring excellent service for patients and customers.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ServSafe Certification required or must be obtained within one (1) year; ability to read, write, and communicate in English; basic mathematics skills; effective time management and organizational skills; flexibility in work conditions; computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory platforms; ability to work independently and with co-workers; experience in institutional food service or restaurant, including catering and culinary; strong leadership skills; ability to work with 3rd party vendors and manage catering orders; physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a kitchen environment with exposure to various chemicals and temperatures.
