Position: Culinary Med/Comun Nutr Coord
About: Columbia University’s Culinary Medicine and Community Nutrition Coordinator position aims to develop and maintain relationships with community organizations to promote nutrition education within the Washington Heights and greater NYC areas. The role involves supervising student and alumni groups, leading research projects in nutrition education and culinary medicine, and supporting curricular development in these areas. The coordinator will play a vital role in coordinating CUIMC nutrition volunteer efforts and engaging with the local community.
Requirements: Master’s degree; Certified Dietitian registered in New York State; Training in Culinary Medicine; Minimum of four years related experience; Excellent oral and written communication; Strong interpersonal and outstanding organizational skills; Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse population; Ability to work well independently and in a team
