Position: Culinary Manager
About: The Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing fundamental issues of economic, social, racial, and environmental justice. Feeding Champlain Valley, a Program of CVOEO, focuses on alleviating hunger and ensuring access to food as a human right. They are currently seeking a Culinary Manager to oversee kitchen operations, meal production, and distribution, supervising the Food Truck and Meal Production Supervisor, ensuring food safety standards, providing periodic reporting, budget creation and monitoring, and maintaining records of expenses and purchases.
Requirements: An Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts or 3-5 years of professional culinary experience required; supervisory experience preferred; Current ServSafe accreditation (proctor/instructor, dual role preferred); experience in program management, project planning and organization; effective verbal and written communication skills (bilingual abilities a plus); availability for occasional nights and weekends; valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation within CVOEO’s service area.
