Position: Culinary Herons Cook PM
About: The Herons Cook at The Umstead Hotel is a pivotal role responsible for leading by example in all aspects of Herons production and service, embodying the Executive Chef’s core values of quality, sanitation, and fair treatment of associates. The Cook ensures a clean, organized, and efficient workplace as directed by the Executive Chef and Chef De Cuisine, reporting directly to the Chef De Cuisine and/or Sous Chef Team.
Requirements: High school or equivalent education required; One to two years of kitchen experience preferred; Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government-required licenses, certificates, or permits; All employees must adhere to The Umstead Hotel’s grooming standards for a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
