Position: Cooking Instructor
About: Healthy Italia, an Italian Recreational Cooking School located in Madison, NJ, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Cooking School Instructor to join their team. The school aims to inspire individuals through the joy of cooking, emphasizing authentic Italian culinary experiences that reflect the heart and soul of Italian culture.
Requirements: Enthusiasm for teaching and cooking; Love and passion for Italian Culinary Culture; Ability to learn “the way we do it here”; Ability to communicate verbally and work cooperatively with employees and customers; Ability to work a varied schedule in order to teach classes at different times of the day, week, and year. Mandatory working nights and weekends; Passionate cook – no degree required; 4-month training will be provided for independence in teaching; Extremely organized with keen attention to details; Self-starter with the ability to work independently; Comfortable stepping outside regular duties as needed; Ability to adapt quickly to changing plans and priorities; Ability to respond professionally to critical feedback; Preferred: Italian and Spanish language speakers
