The job involves preparing breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner for all areas serviced by Food Services as assigned by Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or First Cook. Performs necessary prep work to complete meals on a daily basis and for the next day’s production needs. Responsible for the organization and sanitation of work areas.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and up to one year of basic technical training in food preparation; six to twelve months of previous work-related experience; three months or less of on-the-job training and orientation; certification required as a Food Handler from the city of Paterson or similar food safety certification
