Position: Cook II-.60 FTE
About: Seattle Children’s is seeking a dedicated Cook II to join its team. The Cook II is responsible for preparing food products using various cooking techniques, adhering to standard recipes and plating guidelines, and ensuring the timely production in compliance with health and safety protocols. This role involves managing food production, storage, and inventory to cater to the diverse needs of patients, families, and staff. Additionally, the Cook II maintains cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, participates in culinary development, and showcases culinary skills as necessary.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent experience; Four (4) years of professional food production experience; Washington State Food and Beverage Service Worker’s Permit obtained within 15 days of employment; Culinary Degree or Formalized Apprenticeship preferred; Experience with food production in a catering, hotel, or hospital setting
