Position: Cook II
About: Bartlett Regional Hospital is seeking a professional Cook II to join their Dietary team. Located in Juneau, Alaska, Bartlett Regional Hospital offers a supportive work environment and the opportunity to serve a diverse population and visitors from around the world.
Requirements: Education: High school diploma or the equivalent; One year certificate from college or technical school related to hospitality or culinary arts. Substitution: Three years of experience as a Cook may substitute for the certificate. Combinations of education and experience may be considered. Experience in an institutional setting preferred. Licenses/Certifications: Must obtain Certified Food Protection Manager within 6 months of hire. Other: Must be at least 18 years of age; Knowledge of large quantity food preparation; Ability to read, write and speak the English language to interpret documents such as recipes, menus, meal tickets, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
