Position: COOK I
About: This position is in the Food and Nutrition department at UH. The role involves preparing and serving a variety of food items for the cafeteria, patient tray line, and special events. The responsibilities include functioning as a grill cook and in cold food areas while ensuring adherence to hospital and departmental policies and procedures. There is no patient care assignment for this role.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent required; 1/2 year (6 months) of directly related experience; physical ability to perform medium work tasks as described; moderate exposure to chemicals, dangerous equipment, and materials in working conditions
