Position: Cook I
About: The Biltmore Hotel is looking for a dedicated Cook I to join their team, responsible for preparing menu items for banquet events and a la carte dishes. The position requires adherence to high standards and the ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Requirements: Education: High School Diploma; Experience: Minimum of three to four years as a Cook in a hotel or restaurant with similar styles and standards. Some fine dining experience preferred. Skills: Must be able to speak, read, write English, compute accurate calculations, prioritize tasks, work with minimal supervision, and have excellent knowledge of the Miami area. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift objects up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and operate necessary office equipment. Licenses or Certifications: Food Handling Certificate
