Position: Cook-Food Services-FT-1st shift
About: Performs all functions related to preparing foods for meal service for patients and cafeteria, including breakfast, lunch, supper, meats, vegetables, modified diets, special functions, and other food items as directed. Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred; food preparation experience in a high-volume setting preferred; supervisory experience strongly preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to solve problems independently. Knowledgeable of and able to follow sanitation standards. Familiarity with cooking methods, safe food handling techniques, kitchen equipment, and recipe adherence. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
