Position: Cook – Food & Nutrition Services – UAB Main Hospital – Multiple Shifts
About: UAB Medicine, Alabama’s largest academic medical center with over 1,200 beds and 200 clinics in Birmingham, Alabama, is seeking talented Cooks to join their Food & Nutrition Services team. The production work involves creating meals for patients using standardized recipes and high volume food production methods. Employees work under the guidance of trained chefs to prepare patient meals and maintain high-quality standards.
Requirements: One (1) year of related experience required; Certified completion of the Food Handler Training Course by the Jefferson County Department of Health within 21 days of employment required.
