Position: Cook/Baker II (Supervisor)
About: The King County Correctional Facility in Downtown Seattle, WA, is seeking to fill a full-time Cook/Baker II position. The selected candidate may work at various locations and will primarily be assigned to a single facility based on a bidding process. The role involves a wide range of duties, including organizing work, supervising kitchen workers, monitoring food supplies, and ensuring smooth operations under the direction of the Food Services Manager. Requirements: 21 years of age or older; Food Handler’s Permit from Seattle-King County Health Department; High School Diploma or GED; Current and valid Servsafe certification; Valid Washington State Driver’s License; Minimum 24 months lead or supervisory experience in institutional food service; Full-time work experience in large-quantity food preparation and baking (minimum of 500 servings per meal)
