Position: Community Educator
About: Vetri Community Partnership is a nonprofit organization based in Philadelphia dedicated to providing interactive cooking classes and experiential nutrition education to kids, families, and community members. They focus on building culinary skills, nutritional knowledge, and confidence through the kitchen as a classroom, partnering with schools and community sites in under-resourced communities.
Requirements: Knowledge of basic cooking techniques; strong knife skills required; experience teaching or leading classes or demonstrations a plus; ability to work independently and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills; valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicle; ability to lift approximately 40lbs and stand or walk for extended periods of time; successful completion of PA Criminal Background Check, Child Abuse History Check, and FBI Fingerprinting record
