About: Flying Food Group, LLC is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Japanese Cook to join their team. The company specializes in high-volume cooking for airline catering and food catering industries, focusing on modern Japanese-inspired cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a strong background in Japanese cooking techniques, ensuring the delivery of top-quality dishes to airline standards.
Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of Japanese cooking experience in a high-volume cooking institution, airline catering, or food catering industry is required; manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise knife techniques; ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for long hours, and handle high heat; proficiency in English language; 3-5 years of Japanese cooking experience preferred; experience with multi-airline international customers preferred; working knowledge of HACCP, USDA, and FDA compliance; a minimum of two (2) years as a Lead Cook in a high-volume cooking institution/airline catering or food catering industry.
