Position: Chef, Pastry – Head Baker
About: Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando is seeking a talented and experienced Chef, Pastry – Head Baker to lead the bakery team and oversee the production of baked goods for the resort and catering services. This role requires expertise in maintaining high food quality standards, developing new menu items, and ensuring adherence to safety practices and cleanliness.
Requirements: Baking and Pastry Degree or Baking Apprenticeship preferred; 5+ years of experience in a high-volume bakery production facility with 5+ years in a supervisory role; Must be able to work a flexible schedule for special events and business demands; Ability to operate semi-industrial bakery equipment and optimize efficiencies; Strong knowledge of starters, cultures, fermentation, and dough types; Attention to detail, precision in measurements, ability to work under pressure; Excellent communication, teamwork, adaptability, and fast-paced kitchen skills
