About: Private family seeking a Full Time Chef for their home in Bronxville, Westchester County, New York during the school year (live out) and in Nantucket, Massachusetts in the Summer (live in a pool house). The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing healthy dinners (considering a severe allergy to peanuts) for the family, lunches for the parents, and grocery shopping for meal ingredients in a casual and down-to-earth family environment that values simplicity and family-oriented values. The role involves occasional errands and driving with a shared car.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; culinary experience and expertise in preparing healthy meals; ability to work independently and handle cooking responsibilities efficiently; valid driver’s license; proficiency in English; years of cooking experience with references; punctual, multitasker, team player, and appreciative of family values
