Position: Chef Manager, Airline Lounges
About: Sodexo’s Airline Lounge Segment has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Sous Chef to join the elite team of professionals who will operate the American Express Centurion Lounge at John F Kennedy International Airport in Jamaica, NY. The lounges are dedicated spaces for elite passengers to relax, rejuvenate, enjoy food from the buffet, and self-service beverage program. We are seeking a hospitality-minded manager to be part of creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED or equivalent required; 1 year of basic management experience; supervisory culinary background within hotel banquets, country clubs, and upscale restaurants with the ability to stay current with new culinary trends; excellent mentoring/leadership and communication skills; flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and some holidays; coaching and employee supervision abilities; passion for food and innovation
