Position: Chef Manager
About: Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Chef Manager for the University of Chicago Medicine in Chicago, IL. The Chef Manager role involves focusing on team development, culinary expertise, safety protocol, and client relations, reporting to the General Manager. This position plays a key role in meeting budget requirements and executing company-delivered programs.
Requirements: Healthcare experience preferred; Union experience preferred; 2-3 years of experience in a related position required; 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience required; Culinary degree preferred; Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession required; Experiential knowledge of management of people and/or problems required; Oral, reading, and written communication skills required.
