Position: Chef job
About: A fine-dining, full-service restaurant in need of a Chef to oversee kitchen operations, adhere to quality standards, and ensure guest satisfaction and profitability. The establishment values employee relations and a positive working environment to deliver a memorable culinary experience to patrons.
Requirements: Knowledge, skills, and aptitudes required: Exceptional understanding of P&L and cost controls; strong leadership abilities; excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to provide an excellent culinary experience; excellent communication and time management skills; manual dexterity and keen auditory and visual skills. Education and Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Chef role in a fine-dining, full-service restaurant, with a preference for a Steakhouse concept; high volume sales experience exceeding 10 million a year preferred; at least two years of culinary managerial experience required; ServSafe certification and current Washington State Food Handler’s card mandatory.
