About: The Friendly Toast is a unique all day brunch and bar restaurant with an eclectic, scratch-made menu. The restaurant showcases tried-and-true recipes consistently across all locations and encourages chefs’ creativity through Chef Battles. This allows chefs to create specials for a chance to earn a permanent menu spot, bragging rights, and trophy display. The company values work-life balance with a 45-hour work week primarily between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., providing 40 hours of sick time per year for managers. Additionally, employees receive accrued paid time off increasing over the years and actively promote training, development, and culinary excellence.
Requirements: Experience as a chef in a high-volume restaurant; Experience in creating and developing new dishes and specials; Knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols; Ability to manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed; Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment; Excellent communication and teamwork skills; Passion for creating and serving delicious food
