About: Barcade, a well-established restaurant in Jersey City, is currently in search of a Chef to oversee the daily kitchen operations. The Chef plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with Barcade Corporate standards and supporting the General Manager in managing kitchen staff and administrative tasks related to the food program.
Requirements: 3 years of experience as a line cook in a full-service kitchen; ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for extended periods; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; previous experience with ordering and inventory; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; understanding of food and labor cost; knowledge of the local food scene; ServSafe certification
