About: New Cafe Style Restaurant and Wine Market in the neighborhoods near downtown Columbia seeking a full-time Chef to join the team. The restaurant is set to open at the end of 2025 or early 2026, offering a quality of life opportunity with flexible hours, top pay, and the chance to customize a brand new restaurant to individual preferences. The ownership boasts over 15 years of experience in operating successful upscale/casual restaurants, providing a conducive environment for growth and creativity.
Requirements: Culinary Arts, Food Preparation, and Cooking skills; Menu Planning and Food Presentation skills; Knowledge of Food Safety and Sanitation standards; Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment; Excellent organizational and time management skills; Strong communication and teamwork skills; Experience working as a chef or in a culinary role; Staffing and building a team from the ground up; Kitchen Managers are welcome to apply but require experience in opening and staffing restaurants
