About: New Cafe Style Restaurant and Wine Market in the neighborhoods near downtown Columbia. The restaurant opening is planned for the end of 2025 or early 2026. The ownership has over 15 years of experience operating successful upscale/casual restaurants. This opportunity offers good hours, menu flexibility, top pay, and the chance to open a brand new restaurant tailored to personal preferences. Partnership opportunities are available.
Requirements: Culinary Arts, Food Preparation, and Cooking skills; Menu Planning and Food Presentation skills; Knowledge of Food Safety and Sanitation standards; Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment; Excellent organizational and time management skills; Strong communication and teamwork skills; Experience working as a chef or in a culinary role; Staffing and building a team from the ground up; Kitchen Managers with experience opening and staffing restaurants preferred; Must be able to assemble an opening team including Kitchen Managers, Assistant Kitchen Managers, and key line cooks. Support will be provided.
