Position: Chef /Japanese cuisine experience
About: Flying Food Group, LLC is seeking a passionate and skilled individual with above-average Japanese cooking knowledge to join their team. This position involves preparing a variety of cuisines with skill, innovation, and creativity while ensuring compliance with airline and fresh meal specifications. The ideal candidate will work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment with a focus on maintaining safety protocols and food standards.
Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of Japanese cooking experience in a high-volume cooking institution, airline catering, or food catering industry is required; manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination; ability to stand for hours at a time and work in a high-temperature environment; fluency in English; 3-5 years of Japanese cooking experience preferred; working knowledge of HACCP, USDA, and FDA compliance; minimum of two (2) years as a Lead Cook in a high-volume cooking institution/airline catering or food catering industry.
